How to wear our hats

In most cases our headpieces are worn on the right above the right eye.

Please make sure the label is at the back of your head when wearing your hat/headpiece. In some cases especially when wearing a headpiece the label maybe slightly off centre back.

If your hat/headpiece has elastic; place the elastic around the back of your head behind the ears and under the hairline. You can comb your hair over the elastic once it is in place.​ There may be a small comb in the hat/headpiece; this is to help secure it in place. Use grips to secure your hat/headpiece if necessary.

 

Looking after your hat/headpiece

Try not to get your hat/headpiece wet.​ When you are not wearing it; pack if possible in acid free tissue paper. Always use a good sized box so not to damage any part of the hat/headpiece…..feathers and other trims are delicate and need care. If your hat has a crown; scrunch tissue paper inside, this will help maintain the shape.
